Law School Career Services Offices are a key link in the Law School Connect videoconferencing network and there, generally, are no costs to the law school. Law School Connect provides law schools with videoconferencing equipment, connectivity, and membership on a loan basis. Inquire about membership.

REMOTE INTERVIEWING

Career Services Offices add another tool to assist law students in their search for employment. With the Law School Connect network of member law firms readily at hand, Career Services Offices provide law students with ready access for an initial screening interview through remote videoconferencing. Career Services Offices maintain control of the videoconferencing equipment and scheduling through their own administrative processes. This ensures that student pre-interviewing screening has been accomplished. And, the Career Services Recruiters are meeting the needs of both the client law firms and the law student.

SUPPORT

Equipment installation and training, accompanied with an easy to follow system manual is provided by Law School Connect to the Career Services designated staff. Law School Connect also provides 24 hour on call and call back technical support so there is no added burden on the staff IT professionals. Law School Connect manages your law firm sponsorship and solicits on-going and new law firm member sponsorships.

Membership includes access to the national network of videoconference enabled public rooms owned by our technology partner, Courtroom Connect, at the reduced LSC member rate of $160/hour. THE EQUIPMENT

Law School Connect has selected the Polycom VSX 5000 series camera. It is combined with a large screen TV monitor and cabinet to create a state of the art videoconferencing system for remote interviewing.
